I needed a beater hat that would keep its shape and resist staining. This is the right hat for that. I was disappointed that the external band (ribbon) was basically a rubber like strip glued around the hat. It made the hat look really cheap, so I pulled it off an added a new grosgrain ribbon instead. It looks better, but if I had known that that ribbon was a rubber material, I wouldn't have purchased the hat.

Poor fit

I liked the way the hat looks, the quality is ok, but the hat doesn’t come close to fitting. I’ve bought many medium size hats and none are this large. While using the foam pieces help the fit, it does nothing for the look…
