Lightweight Fitted Tee Slate

I've bought 3 standard issue Tees and not one has fit. I do like the feel of the fabric and build quality of the shirt but the sizing seems to be all over the place. I bought a med and it fit like a XL. So it's now a sleep shirt. Then I bought a small (I haven't worn a small since the 5th grade) and it was too small. So then I buy this fitted tee in a large. It fits nice across the shoulders and chest but is too bulbous around the middle and too long.

These run very small. Barely fit and shrunk further after washing them. Thankfully they fit my son well.
