Smooth, Light, and delicious

The title says it all for me! I tend to like matchas with a less astringent end taste, and this delivers. I will say that if you want a heavier flavored matcha for a latte, go for Ikuyo or Sayaka. This one gets a little lost in the creaminess of the milk. But for straight drinking or putting in to an -ade. I feel like this would reign supreme.

A breath of spring

I tried Ummon for the first time having enjoyed other Ippodo matcha selections. Opening the bag, the scent was reminiscent of the first grass shoots - the fresh green smell after winter. The taste is herbal and fresh in that same way.
