I am sorry, but your "hemming expert" knows nothing about dress trousers for men. They are supposed to be hand "picked" from the inside so the sewing does not show from the outside, not machine sewn like a pair of blue jeans. I am currently having the two pairs redone by a seamstress who knows how to finish dress trousers for men. Sorry to be so negative, but you must want the truth. I spoke to Lydia about the issue. NC
