I have alopecia, and have been wearing a cheap 2nd hand facebook marketplace wig for a few months now.. i was tossing up between silk or lace, or another brand, and went with this because the other was out of stock - and that was my first mistake. This wig is by far, the most disappointing and appalling wig. For what cost me $2500 AUD + $350 import tax, from a company with a great social media presence and posts of the wigs and even reviews, my experience was humbling and reminded me not to believe everything you see. Here are just a few reasons why: i have also added pics to show you as proof 1. The knot bleaching is terrible. There is bleach that has been applied roughly 0.5-1cm past the root, and even near the sideburn that is clearing not a knot that needs bleaching. 2. The knot bleaching looks DIRTY. See pic attached of cleaned wig.. this is what the true parting looks like. Dirty & like it’s got dandruff. 3. it sheds.. excessively. My cheap facebook marketplace wig doesnt even shed like this. 4. One side of the wig is significantly thicker. 5. Half the knots/hair are done well, and the hair lays flat. The other half were done by someone so incompetent, that it will not lay flat, regardless of what i do. The knots look like theyre tied upwards (hard to explain) but i have attached a photo to show you what i mean. I have attempted to part this many different ways to try to lay it flat. Have tried a hot comb. Drying it down… nope, stilll looks like i forgot to style half my head. 6. The hair quality is horrible. I air dry the wig. Use minimal heat and use all the proper hair care products + use the lowest heat setting on curler…. If even the slightest touch of heat touches the hair, these crinkly little hairs show up… photo of this attached as well Would i recommend this place? No.
