Dune 10.9 2025 with Canopy
After doing much research for a large tent my wife and I discovered the Naturehike Dune 10.9. We purchased the 2025 version of the Dune 10.9 tent in January of 2025. We’ve used it in all 4 seasons. We’ve used it in thunderstorms and the tent kept us protected from driving wind and rain. The precut hot stove jack is slightly large for our stove pipe but easily overcome with a stove pipe collar. Since our purchase of the 2025 version, Naturehike has released several options to enhance the tent as well as the upgraded Dune 10.9 Pro tent, released in early 2026. The 10.9 Pro is slightly smaller in length (a few centimeters). All six doors open fully on the 10.9 Pro where the 2025 version has 4 doors that open fully and 2 large windows in the sleeping area. The inner tent in the 10.9 Pro is slightly larger but again only by a few centimeters. I doubt the difference is significant however if it provides more space in the sleeping area that can only be a positive. The 2025 version easily fits a queen size blow up mattress with a foot of extra space at the side of the bed as well as the foot of the bed. Another difference is that the 2025 version has an extended double front awning where the 10.9 Pro was designed with only a single awning off the front. The double length on the 2025 version acts as an awning or let it drape down and can be used as a projector screen. They both have a single awning off the back door. Neither version comes with poles for the awnings. We purchased the fitted ground mat, 2 TPU doors, and the rain top. Unfortunately, the 2025 version is only equipped to use 1 TPU door on the front entrance. So, we have a back up TPU if the first one fails is some way. The 10.9 Pro is equipped to use 6 TPU doors all sold separately (2/front and back and 4 side doors). Both tents have excellent ventilation. We also purchased the fitted heat reflective aluminum ground mat for more protection from the elements. This was an excellent purchase. We did not know this was an option and just happened upon it on Amazon. Naturehike then released the canopy set in early 2026. We bought the canopy set without knowing if it would fit the 2025 version as it was released for the 10.9 Pro. We took the gamble and thankfully it fit the 2025 version. The canopy is awesome. The canopy can be used on either side of the tent as well as off the front or back or be free standing if desired. The bat wing shape lets you create different set ups depending on your needs. The black out material keeps you protected from UVA and UVB and actually helps keep the campsite cooler. The canopy is huge. You can cover half the tent and still have a full vestibule or extend the canopy fully and have a massive seating area. The canopy is so good we will be purchasing a second. The only drawbacks are there is not enough tie down points on the canopy. With more tie downs you have more ways to protect your tent and equipment from the elements. The canopy isn’t light by any means weighing 12 pounds including poles. The poles are pretty heavy duty but slightly cumbersome since they come in sections instead of just extending. Also the poles did not come with pole tops. Another extra purchase. We bought rubber stoppers and drilled them out. Worked great. The 10.9 Pro has tie downs on the rain flaps at the base of the tent but is not included on the 2025 version. We purchased tarp tie downs they worked great as well. In conclusion, we love this tent. By far the best tent we’ve owned. It covers almost every one of our needs. Despite the extra purchases the whole set up is affordable and worth every penny. Be sure to use the Naturehike coupons when you can. We got the canopy for $75 using a Naturehike coupon. I’ve seen it for as much as $150 normally $122. We got the 2025 version of the tent for $350 new it’s normally $500.

Naturehike Dune 10.9 Pro with TPU
Very spacious and I would say easy to pitch even though it’s a ”big tent”. I bought it together with tpu windows and door. That said it’s a must. All that daylight and view you’ll get is amazing. I actually got the canopy as well and that one is also very big. Be aware of windy days.. After 2 trips I’m very satisfied with this tent.
