Exceptional Alternative to FM Promise
This is, without a doubt, my favorite Moudon fragrance. It's rich, opulent, comforting, and simply smells incredible. My type of rose fragrance.
I own a decant of FM Promise, which I used to reserve for special occasions. When I first heard about this fragrance a year ago, I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. To my nose, it's even more wearable than Promise (not only because of the price). It's brighter, more versatile, and I actually prefer the opening. After a couple of hours, the two fragrances become remarkably similar.
FM Promise is undeniably stronger in terms of projection and also if you smell them side by side it’s clear that Promise ingredients are higher quality. However, this fragrance still lasts all day, especially on clothing, and smells expensive.
One evening, I wore it to church, and more than 10 people stopped me to ask what I was wearing because it smelled so good. That's easily the most compliments I've ever received from a fragrance in a single outing, and I have over 300 fragrances.
Overall, I love this perfume so much that I've already bought two backup bottles. Since Moudon doesn't appear to sell its fragrances directly, I figured it was better to stock up while I still could. If you come across a bottle, I'd recommend grabbing it you won't be disappointed.
