My waistline is 32.5", and size L fits great. I wear M in Bandit and Lululemon running shorts for your reference. I can put my phone with its case in the liner so the pocket width is good, but I wish the liner were a bit tighter, as I can feel my phone bounce more than when I wear other shorts while running.

Let me start by saying I really like the color and I wanted this color in the half tights and or with the liners but both were sold out by the time I stumbled upon Deadlast's website.
With that being said, I bought these with the hopes of wearing my own undergarments, and let's just say the family jewels are getting stretched as inseam sits high in these shorts.

The shorts felt like they sat a little lower than I expected, so I assumed they would ride down on my while I ran. They did not move an inch while I was running! It was awesome. Love these shorts!
