My professional camera system is Sony, and I have tons of flashes for it, but for my personal work, I enjoy different camera brands like Nikon, Fuji, and some others. Before this flash, I had to have a different flash for every camera, and it was expensive, problematic, and sometimes annoying. With the Godox iT32, everything changed, and now I can cover my entire camera collection with a single flash that looks nice, is feature-packed, is part of a bigger system if needed, and if that wasn’t enough, it’s a joy to use. I’m sure this is the path Godox will take in the future, and they will introduce this new technology to the whole Speelights collection.

Why I Chose the Godox IT32 Over the IT30Pro

I’m not a flash photographer, and I don’t have much experience using flashes. I was originally set on buying the Godox IT30Pro, but after doing a bit more research, I went with the IT32 instead. I’m glad I did. The IT32 is simply more versatile. It gives you real control over the light, you can bounce it, use it off-camera, and if you ever change camera systems, you only need a new trigger, not a whole new flash. For my use, casual photography and taking photos of my toddler, it’s been excellent. The images look natural and well lit, and the USB-C charging is the cherry on top.
