‘Sweet Nothings’ a new zine by Martina Calvi

Although it is a visually pleasing zine, and even aware that a limited number of prints manufactures exclusivity that tends to inflate the price of any item, I still cannot justify the price point. This zine has 6 sheets (12 pages) and still the plaid background repeated 4 times, and the multiple package picture repeated 2. Tine Zine edition #2 that stands at 14.95€ for over 70 pages A5 of densely packed contributions, artists and varied compelling contente, paying 8.95€ for 12 pages A6 of limited material purely for visual consumption seems very disproportionate. Although still pretty, there should be a lottle more transparency on the physical characteristics (since overcoirse the actual contents of it should remain somewhat a mystery to maintain its value and intention). It is the only item of this nature that goves virtually no information about what youre paying for and that feels a little disrespectful to a consumer. Im still a supporter of martina,but wanted to inform others.
