PICPAK Pocket-Size E-Ink Album

This is a very cool device. I wish it had more resolution (maybe 1.25x?) so that viewers can appreciate the image quality at closer distances, but understand that this would come with power consumption trade-offs. Still, the cost, weight and fidelity all fit together to make a good value proposition.

It's a really fun device, incredible to see really when you hold something so thin and compact and it displays the pictures in good colors. Only reason I picked the 4 stars rating and not 5 is because I wish the app on the phone side would automatically resize pictures that aren't in the 4:3 aspect ratio instead of just showing the middle 400x300px square of your pictures.

Works as advertised. I wasnt expecting a pocket sized 4k OLED display. Looks great given the limitations of eInk. The iOS app needs some love, buggy, hangs, confusing. But once loaded the unit works fine. Do agree the kickstand is pretty poor. Magnets work fine. Load it up, leave it, charge it when needed. Giving some away as gifts.
