DD26 Fishing Single Side Steering Lock

Wow, the steering lock was perfect! I only wish that it was in reverse, where the most of the powder coat was showing (because it looks so nice), rather than the backside with the twist lock and cotter pin. But it did it's purpose and looked good while doing it!

Nicely made. Does the job ok. Seems a little cumbersome. Holds the engine fairly still but there is some slight movement but not much. The engine doesn’t flop sideways so it works. The strap is a little difficult to get really tight and snug and had a difficult time getting it through the buckle clamp. Otherwise a nice product and well made.

Built With Quality in Mind.

The steering lock is well built. The lock snaps onto the steering rod and does not move. The heavy duty strap could be a little longer in order to make cinching the strap a little easier. My boat has a large engine and it's difficult to get a grip on the strap under the engine. I plan on buying other products from DD26.
