ATK Horizon DSP Gaming In-ear Earphones

First time buying IEMS, I’ve trusted ATK before with mice and mousepads. So I figured I’d try out their IEMs. I’m pleasently surprised quality feels great. Sound is very neutral i’d say so you can tune them exacgly how you like your sound which is very nice. I got a bunch of different tips so the fit inside the ear is solid. For 60$ I’d say you can’t go wrong.

I received the ATK Horizon Type-C IEMs and immediately noticed constant buzzing and zapping noises whenever they were plugged into my ears, even with no audio playing. The issue occurred on both my PC and phones at different places tested! Support claimed this is "expected behavior" caused by electromagnetic interference due to the Type-C version's sensitive built-in DAC/cable design. However, none of my other Type-C or 3.5mm IEMs produce this kind of noise under the same conditions. What's disappointing is that there is no clear information anywhere warning buyers about this issue. I expected far better transparency and support from ATK.
