Great place great help Everything I need and experience have been going here for years

Strong, tough and fairly easy to print using the recommended temperatures and fairly slow volumetric speed (6 cu. mm/sec). The attached picture is a drive belt for my drill press -- doesn't slip, doesn't heat up. I've also made a number of gaskets and seals (150psi water pressure with no leaks). This stuff is a game changer for me.

I bought and tested a roll of the green Sigma TPU: great stuff. Got all the settings figured out to work with my open bedslinger and made several functional parts with great success, from gaskets and seals to a drill press drive belt. So I bought a roll of the black, thinking it would be similar. Not so much. Right out of the vacuum sealed bag w/dessicant I had stringing, under-extrusion and poor layer adhesion. Every print failed. I tinkered with settings for hours without success, but I could print the same parts in green (which I store in a vacuum bag with dessicant) without issue. All the signs were pointing to excessive moisture in the filament, despite coming direct from the factory packaging and ambient 35% RH in the room. So I stuck it in the warming oven at 70° C. After drying overnight it seems to be printing reasonably well using the original settings determined using the green.
