My other BCD's are both jacket-type, which while great for the beginner isn't ideal for photography, so I opted for the Pro 2 to simplify trim with its back inflation design. I really like bare bone design of the Pro 2 which flattens down into a nice tight bundle that can be packed in the included backpack-styled storage/travel bag or in my checked baggage. I opted for the Air2 to reduce drag, but having the Octopus combined with the low-pressure inflator, makes more to think about in the event of equipment failure. I ordered it with the standard sized weight pockets, and today I received my 5 lbs Seasoft Heavy Duty Neoprene Lead Shot Filled SEABAG, which filled out the zipper pocket completely, I have no idea how large of a SEABAG will fit in the mini pockets, I’ll start with a 2 lbs bag, maybe one could get a 3 lbs bag to fit, time will tell. I'm ordering 2 lbs coated lead weights for the mini weight pockets and pockets on the back of the BCD to see how it balances out my trim. Overall, I think this is going to be a nice upgrade for tropical dive trips.

Great combination Scubapro and Divecatalog!

There isn't much to say about this Scubapro Hydros Pro2 with Air2 BC because it is truly designed to meet all the needs of traveling divers. What I really want to highlight is the company Divecatalog and the fact that the people working there are so professional and helpful. You can buy diving gear anywhere, but you won't find fast, high-quality service just anywhere.

Perfect for traveling

This is a great packable BCD, perfect for traveling. I normally use a ZEN but this beats it for traveling abroad.
