A beautiful showcase of religious anxiety
As someone who was once in Geneviere's shoes, this comic was both healing and justifying to my inner younger self. Major props to Lee for the excelent depictions of spiraling panic attacks, especially when you're just met with more traumatic stuff!

Great storytelling!
As someone who grew up in a similar household and has lived through many "end of the world" moments, this really captures the feelings a much younger me grappled with. In other words, very relatable! I love the imagery too. Great storytelling, highly recommend.

It was great! Very Nostalgic.
Some things I loved:
The DS chats, the distorted intercom messages in the supermarket, the contrasting verses at the start and end of the comic, again the excellent sense of place that is very believably 2011, the windows 7 toolbar (look at the back of the book XD), "uh sorry I missed the end of the world, I was gaming-", the distorted adults... it's pretty good!!! ´͈ ᵕ `͈ ♡°◌̊
This comic draws a great picture of what it was like to be a kid in the early 2010s/late aughts and encountering doomsday panic. I had my older sister reassuring me that it was a hoax - but Genevieve doesn't have anyone to give her that same solid sense of security.
When she asks someone if it's going to end soon, she gets told yes. And it's on her mind until... oops! This isn't a summary- guess you'll have to go read it!✧⁺⸜(●′▾‵●)⸝⁺✧
