The FPV Cycle Glide has always been an exceptional frame. I first built 5-inch quads using Glide frames in the summer of 2019 and haven’t looked back since. The building and flight experience has always been outstanding. The new 8mm Glide has been both modernized and revolutionized to meet all the demands of a modern FPV frame. What’s remarkable is that it retains the lightweight characteristics of the original Glide, making it one of the best frames on the market today. Structurally, the way this frame locks together is unmatched in strength and design. The 8mm Glide is an impressive blend of durability and lightness, making it an excellent choice for a bando basher, cinematic quad, or anything in between. Its slim deck design is ideal for modern components. My first build with this frame featured the DJI O3 setup, marking my transition to digital FPV. Now, I’m planning to build a couple of O4-equipped quad as well. With a few printed accessories, this frame becomes virtually bulletproof. Once the O4 camera solution is available, we’ll be in serious business for 2025. The timing of this frame’s release was perfect for me, and I’m happy to be flying and repping FPV Cycle frames. Love the way this frame flies, time will tell how durable it is!

I didn't have good luck with this frame so far. . I paired it with a brand new set of Wasp Majors and experienced a lot of vibrations and odd motor noises. I switched the motors to a different frame to try and rule them out as the culprit and the motors performed great on a different frame. I will go back and rebuild the frame some day to make sure the build was correct. Until then, this is my experience.
