Hammered Titanium Pan

This cookware is beautiful but certainly not non stick. I cook on medium heat and food still sticks and burns even with a little oil. Happy to say clean up isn't that bad however if not careful food can get trapped in those little scale like grooves. I gave a large pan to my granddaughter as a wedding shower gift. I hope she isn't having trouble with it. Please advise on how to resolve my concerns. Otherwise I still fill safe using this titanium vs coated cookware.

There was a bit of a learning curve, because I’m one of these people who needs more precise instructions on how to use things. But I emailed customer service several times, and each time I got back a prompt, extremely helpful response. I can’t say enough good things about Okura’s customer service! Once I got the hang of things, the pan works like a dream—-exactly as advertised! They said they might revise their instructions to address the problems I had, but in case not, just be aware that the seasoning step involves wiping out as much oil as you possibly can with a paper towel immediately after you apply it, and although the pan may discolor a little, that will not affect its functionality.

My only complaint is that fried egg stuck to the pan despite heating at medium with avocado cooking oil. Expected it to be non- stick and egg easy to flip. Heat was set to medium, oil added and I waited several minutes before adding egg to the pan. Not easy at all, unlike my other nonstick pans.
