Issue with MicroSD card in dashcam (DR900S-2CH)

BlackVue tech support was extremely helpful in troubleshooting my MicroSD card issue and provided clear instructions for future occurrences. My dashcam voice messaging said there was a SD card issue. I wasn't able to clearly understand the message having a hearing issue. I removed the SD from dashcam and reformatted it on my computer with BlackVue SD Viewer. The SD Viewer showed the SD was formatted and ready to use. I still got same SD issue message once installed. I repeated these steps several times to no avail. I called BlackVue tech support, explained the issue and what I had done. The tech provided some insights of the issue and what I had done was correct. He mentioned the unfortunate reality is MicroSD cards do "wear" needing to be replaced in time and I should a backup. I formatted my backup SD, installed into Dashcam and everything is working well. The BlackVue MicroSD card worked without flaw for a 1 1/2 years. I only use BlackVue's 256GB MicroSD cards in my dashcam (DR900S-2CH) having found other brands have sporadic issues.
