Women's Beta SL Jacket (Past Season)

New Beta SL as good as ever

This is a replacement jacket for me after years in another Beta SL. I love the colour-not too bright but not going to “disappear” in the trees on a ski-tour. It’s roomy for a medium, which will allow for warm layering underneath. I’m 5’9” and 140 lbs for reference. It falls well below waistline, as required for wet or winter outings, and the zipper-pulls seem long enough to be used by gloved-hands. I never loved the velcro wrist closures, as they sometimes snag other clothing items, but I acknowledge that they allow for infinite adjustments in opening size, which IS great. A very tiny gripe would be the fabric is a little stiff/crackly, as opposed to some previous iterations that I found more pleasingly soft/quiet. Obviously minor thoughts, overall. Very happy to have another quality Arkteryx product.
