Twill Strip

I love the color of these lashes. I really wish they were tapered more like a cat eye or a foxy eye. And then lifting them off of the container tore and lifted some of the lashes off of the strip. There was a white strip that came off with the lash that tore more lashes off when I attempted to remove it. Ultimately the strip was patchy upon application. I had to cut the lashes in pieces to make them work.

As a huge fan of the original black Twills lash ribbons, C curl specifically, I purchased a few boxes of these in 10-12 mms to try. The good: These do have the same fiber patterns as the original Twill lash ribbons, and you get more clusters for the same price. Clusters are also more uniform in this format; the original lash ribbons had 1-3 slightly deformed clusters in each box, whereas these don’t. Better value, better quality (other than the few clusters that I lost during initial removal - I’ve learned to be gentle). Longevity and comfort appear the same. The bad: I lost some of the 10mm clusters because they were very delicate to remove as a full strip. Did not have this issue with the 12’s for some reason. Final thoughts: This brown is dark, but runs reddish. I have dark hair and tan skin and they don’t pop on me like black Twills do. Using black glue helps, but I still would prefer black, so will wait to repurchase if/when black is available.
