This bag is very well designed, with a ton of functionality. It also is a great looking bag. The pockets and storage are all very useable, and they hold a lot. You should know the wax canvass is very thick, and therefore very stiff when new. Think a new pair of jeans in the 1970’s (before they began to pre-wash them). With use, I expect the canvass will soften as it becomes more broken in. The straps are equally stiff, but minimally padded, so they are breaking in more quickly. My one recommendation for Tom Beckbe is to use brass shoulder strap sizing loops with sharper “teeth” - if you pack even moderate weight, the shoulder straps tend to slide and loosen.
