Swapped my a3 magnet for the a8 and just blown away by the sound; amazing for classic tones like Randy Rhoads' tom scholz's, just an overall sick guitar magnet that enhances sound by a long shot.

Magnet swap in PRS pickups

I find the pickups in my PRS guitars to be almost great, but they have a little too much bass and low mids for my taste. My favourite pickup/tone is an eighties Tim Shaw humbucker in my 73 Les Paul Custom With a little research I’ve been able to get that tone in my PRS guitars with magnets from alegree. Thanks

Greatly improved pickup

I have an early PRS SE Anniversary but have never really liked the ceramic bridge pickup (I'm no fan of ceramic) but after an internet search, I thought I would change the magnet rather than the entire pickup. I replaced it with an Alegree Alnico 4. It was a bit fiddly to do, but the sound is so much better, as I was hoping, at a fraction of the price of a new pu. Give it a try.
