I've had this pretty much totally submerged and inside the main compartment was totally waterproof. I think some water may have got into the front zip section but can't guarantee that wasn't user error with me not zipping it up properly.

Ideal for purpose. I was having difficulties with the purchase but a person from the company contacted me promptly and sorted it out for me. Yes, I know, a real person! So good.
