Weird plot
Books wasn’t boring to read. However, I’m not sure if it’s because it’s the first book of a series, but it ends with find some books. The father disappears, but we don’t find out what happens to him. The story should’ve been about finding the father possibly. And there was way too much description about the surroundings.

Brilliant read
Having never heard of the Secret Muslims (Moriscos of Spain) but knowing of the Spanish inquisition, this book was a thoroughly good read! Absolutely enjoyed the story telling layout and wish there were more Islamic books presented in this manner!
Hope to expand on my Islamic knowledge and history with other reads In Shaa Allah!
