OVS Expedition Cap for Jeep Gladiator
This is my 3rd OVS Expedition Cap ( two gladiators and one Ford Ranger) and they have all been exceptional products. For the quality you receive in a DIY camper top for a fraction of the price of competitors it’s incomparable! Overland Vehicle Systems has knocked it out of the park and Recon Recovery continues to deliver with quick delivery times and great customer service! Most definitely will continue to buy from them in the future!

Good looking truck cap that just about anyone can install
I want to commend the folks at Recon Recovery. The truck cap is just as described and if you follow the directions it is fairly easy to put together and install. I did part of the assembly by myself in the floor of my garage. I had all four sides loosely put together in less than an hour with no power tools just a simple ratchet and wrench. I did assemble the sides on a moving blanket and everything went together well. My friends finally arrived and we decided it would be easier to use my chain hoist to place the topper on the bed. We mad a bracket with 2X4 braces under the rails of top inside side pieces. This was attached to a 2X6 which was centered on the sides of the topper. This was done with the top of the topper. We raised the topper wher it was a bout 4 incches off the truck bed rails, put down the 3m bulb tape and carefully lowered the top on to the truck. It was easy to get it aligned with the top rail of the bed with the four people on each corner. We we were satisfied it was in the correct place we removed the hoist bracket and tightened all the side panel bolts. We then placed the top on the topper and using the tightening system placed the rails then the front and back. We installed the six clamps and tightened to recommended tightness 8 to 10 ft/lbs. latches and handle where now installed and we were done. I am not the most mechanically inclined but the directions were clear and easy to follow. I will say that the shop app is not very good at informing of the shipping but the shipping company was excellent and did a really good job. I did notice that there are no instructions fore the molle panels. But there are a couple of videos on youtube
