It's a cool little kit but the weighted plates are straight. The plates stand out from the body instead of having slight bend to conform around the torso to increase mobility and comfort. The shoulder straps are held together with buttons and velcro and I'm hoping they last. I got this because I live in a civilian neighborhood and wanted something a little less threatening than my IOTV but my IOTV can still give me a workout and be more comfortable. That's an achievement to be less comfortable than Army issued equipment.

Great construction shoulder straps are nice and wide so they don’t cut into your shoulders.
