Mikawa yatsubusa

My tree arrived well packed and in good shape. It certainly didn't look like the picture you're showing in the email. Very small. This year it is the only Japanese maple I own that just doesn't look great. All the rest look good and are growing well including my larger Mikawa tree. I live in Carson City,NV at 4900 feet so our sun is very strong. We are having a very hot, windy summer this year so all of my Japanese maples are in the shade.

I received a well packaged healthy tree with lots of new lime green growth. It is currently going through shock because it's been in heat during the day and fog at night, plus some bugs attacked the ends. Have new growth and ends and hoping it becomes happier in its new environment.
