It is the best mouthpiece I have yet found for my Yamaha 204 mellophone with a custom horn lead pipe installed by Patterson Hornworks. I also tried it with a trumpet lead pipe adapter on the Yamaha 202 mellophones used by the Enid OK high school band and the directors loved the sound and response. I ordered several of the mouthpieces for their mellophone line to use this coming marching season.
