I love bare. I don’t usually go for floral but this is so subtle and sweet. To me it has a similar scent to sun tan lotion but in the best way. When sprayed directly on my skin it fades to a beautiful vanilla musk that I can still smell after a long day of work. I work in dentistry so strong scents are not ideal but this is the perfect in between. Just strong enough to notice but not too strong to make people sick. Love it! Will forever wear bare.

Floral

I agree with other reviewers that this smells nothing like the previous bare. The previous bare was nearly too masculine or fresh leaning for me. It was very herbal but I did like that on days when I did not want to smell perfumy and was searching for something more aromatherapeutic. ESAS leans heavily into vanilla fragrances at the moment and maybe this is because a lot of customers liked it, but there is also a group who would prefer something without vanilla so I hope they may consider making a version of bare that is more like the original. I would love something that smells like the Shampure scent from Aveda for days when you want to smell like essential oils. The new bare version is beautiful though for people who love a floral forward warm scent with a clean natural vanilla dry down. It is quite pretty.

I LOVE bare. You have to spray it and let it settle though. When i first got the discovery set i smelled it right out of the bottle and didnt care for it. My technique is to spray each scent on a papertowel and leave each one around the house. Then i go back to them throughout the day and this brought me right to bare over and over again. Im very sensitive to smells so i cant just spray it on me to test unfortunately. Anyway i bought 2 bottles bc i love it so much. I never smelled the original so cant speak to the scent change that ive seen other reviews mentioning.
