Relaced heater controls on my TJ with new Nilite

2000 wrangler TJ Sport lost all speeds on the blower motor Found the thermal fuse in the resistor pack was blown. Wile doing diagnostic I found the 3 wire plug on the selector for heat defrost dash etc. was partially melted. I checked the amperage draw on the blower motor and the blower was fine. I clipped the plug off the wiring and crimped on high temperature spade connectors. I can't say for sure because I didn't use the but the vacume lines for the selector looked short. I just reused the original vacume lines. I ordered a resistor pack that has a plastic air scoop attached that channels more air through the resistors. All is working nice to have heat and A/C the factory parts lasted 25 years I expect the Nilite will outlast me if I last twenty five years I will be 96.
