I became addicted to Guava jelly and jams when I lived in central Florida in the 1960s and the 1970s, and I enjoyed it almost every morning at breakfast. And yes the proper description of how I felt about Guava was an addiction. Fast forward to 1980 and I left Florida to move to Atlanta Georgia to take a job with the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department and much to my horror Guava jelly/jam was not sold outside the state of Florida. Well every time I’d make a trip back to Florida I’d stock up on several jars. No matter how much I’d bring back to Georgia it didn’t last me until my next trip south. I found this site online and now I don’t have to wait for the next road trip.
