As I saw in many YouTube reviews, the Acemate Robot is surprisingly good at catching the ball and maintaining a consistent rally. In particular, the upgraded buffer net seems to do a noticeably better job of catching the ball compared to the previous version.
I also really like the app, which allows me to choose from a variety of drills and customize them to fit my practice needs. The practice analysis feature is another aspect that I find very useful and satisfying.
I still need to use it a bit more to fully evaluate it, but overall, I’m very satisfied with the Acemate Robot so far. I believe it can be a great training tool and will help improve my tennis skills significantly.

So far, so good. It’s great to have a machine that can more accurately replicate a rallying partner by moving around the court and dynamically placing shots to challenge my game.
The build quality of the machine itself is solid, built with a metal body and durable enough to take a beating. The wheels are a clever design that allows it to move seamlessly around the court. I have been hauling the machine from my house to the court every morning. It’s heavy, but noting egregious that an average male couldn’t handle. It might be on the heavier side for women. Just a heads up on that in case you want to move it around.
The telescoping poles for the net is the only part of the machine that seems to be lacking in build quality. I already snapped a piece off of mine just by trying to extend it fully as part of its normal operation. It’s not the end of the world and I can keep using it for a while without replacing, but at this price point, the telescoping poles should be a bit stronger.
The machine doesn’t catch all of my shots, but honestly I expected that to be the case. If you hit it hard, the machine can only move so fast to respond and reach across the court. As long as you temper your expectations as far as that feature goes, you’ll likely enjoy this machine as much as I do. My son rallied with this machine and it catches the majority of his balls.
In conclusion, I would recommend the machine is you can afford it. It’s truly one of a kind and will improve your game.

My family love the Robot S10; it is like a real player for wide spectrum play levels. It is NOT a ball machine, BUT real helpful device from ball launching, drill practice, and rally. It covers diverse needs of tennis players, from beginner to high level player.
