This smells like unpacking flat pack furniture. Particleboard, butcher paper, and that faintly oily smell left behind on your hands after handling packaging materials. There is something vaguely synthetic here that I suspect is the styrofoam note, but to my nose it reads more as processed materials than "new clothes." The whole thing feels dry and beige, like opening a cardboard box filled with freshly manufactured items. As it dries down, the rough edges disappear and the scent settles into a much more conventional iris and amber combination. Like other Cardinal Scents fragrances, this one does not stick around very long on my skin.

smells exactly like a squeaky clean department store mannequin, smells like fresh never-worn clothes that still have that staticky plastic smell from the package it shipped in. love it 10/10 definitely considering a full size
