1/32 Fokker DVII OAW 3.0 Ernst Udet

The decals are a great disappointment to me. The red is very dull / dark and if you lay the decals next to the art work you will see what I mean. The black upper wing crosses should have been printed / masks made separately along with the white LO, Du dach nicht!!, white markings on the upper tail. Then a better rendition of red can be painted, which I plan to do. For the price of the kit, these options should have been included. I have not started the kit yet so this is my first impression. I am going to have masks made and have the red / white stripes extend around to the under side of the upper wing. This may not be correct, but the Eduard 1/48 kit shows this and I like it. Also for the price of the kit more marking options could be made available. John Storholm

I was immediately interested the moment this new kind of model was announced. It was a long proces in which Christian informed the interested people about the developments on a regular basis. I met Christain at IPMS 2025 in Houten (The Netherlands). The models he displayed there were stunning. Earlier Christian gave me advice what to purchase fot building a fokker EII max Immelmann. After a long period i received this model of the famoud ace Ernst Udet. In one word.....amazing performance to f abricate this new kind of model with so much details. Thank you very much.
