Great ballet shoes! I'm a beginner and this exactly what I need.

Fantastic pair of ballet slippers!

Does not grip well enough on synthetic flooring

Wonderful at first - comfortable and initially felt secure; but I found that on a temporary dance floor (the kind laid down over carpet in ballrooms for dancing) my feet had a tendency to slip out from under me when doing modern dance. I even fell once because one foot suddenly lost traction as if on ice. That may be partly due to my age (I am retired now) and being out of practice, but the slippage was so sudden and felt as if I were dancing in stockinged feet instead of wearing ballet slippers. I may need an old fashioned slipper with a full leather sole instead of just the two pads on the balls and heels of my feet, but you didn't have one in my size (I have large feet). I don't think I will continue to use them. At my age, I need to be more careful about avoiding falls.
