Nice hollow body.

Solid construction and a nice fit for the neck mounting. The neck was pretty much ready to play after simple adjustments. I had some humbuckers I wanted to use so I can’t speak to the included. Other electronics were pretty decent. Overall a better kit than other brands I have built in the past .

Big hollow-body archtop basses can be a bit spendy, and seem to be a bit niche (thus harder to find,) so I figured why not build my own? The kit comes with all the needed parts. Some are excellent ... the maple laminate and neck have good grain and came as-advertised (i.e. only needing final sanding,) and the neck fit is nice and snug. Pickups are good, the rest of the electronics are decent. Best thing about these kits is you can mix and match to suit your particular tastes. The assembled and finished bass sounds great!
