Delivered as promised!
I had high expectations for this filter and was not disappointed. It's a little on the expensive side but there is no other choice for the Vespera. I don't mind the expense when the juice is worth the squeeze.

Impressive, smart and intuitive
I purchased the Vespera 3 a few weeks ago along with a complete filter set. I am very impressed by the quality of workmanship and styling of the telescope and filters. The automation of the telescope via the Singularity app is fantastic.
Now given the time of the year and my viewing location in West Cork, Ireland, true darkness doesn't fall until well after 11pm and lasts only to 3am before light begins to creep up from the horizon. So I have been limited in terms of viewing along with the recent full moon, cloudy nights and rain to contend with.
However, my first attempt at capturing the Elephant Trunk Nebula and the Bubble Nebula with the Dual band filter, tracking and imaging at 90 mins and 60mins respectively did result in some great images. The reds and pinks were decently saturated and almost electric, the blues and teals were cool and ghostly and the background was sufficiently clean and dark given the hue of the Irish twilight starting to emerge in the lower sky.
I am looking forward to Autumn and Winter (not forgetting clear weather) to really work on my astro-photography. The Vespera 3 along with the dual-band filter are a gem to work with, highly durable and reliable resulting in crisp pin-sharp stars and spectral, billowing nebulae.

DB filter
Last night was my first try at using the DB filter. My skies have significant light pollution, but the filter delivered a lovely view of the Veil Nebula. I plan to use it regularly when observing nebulas.
