I am addicted to new wood bats. I love their look, feel and the sound of a ball and wood bat barrel making contact. Although one hardly ever breaks a bat playing in a 70+ league, I keep buying new ones from all of the major wood bat manufacturers. For looks, feel and, especially, performance the SAM97 is at the top of my list. It feels like a natural extension of your arm, and the ball jumps off the barrel like it is in a great hurry to travel far in a hurry.

Received my new Sam Bat and got to use it for some live BP that night. Balance and weighting was great. Ball jumped off the barrel. Can’t wait for live game action.
