I’m making this for my son. He loves the Raiders football team so I’m using those colors for the helmet and shirt. Silver faux leather for the helmet and cork for the football.

I have almost finished this for August. I have used my school colors from the far past. I love that I could use extra batting under the Jersey, Helmet and football. Love the extra puff. As with all patterns I have gotten the directions are so easy to follow.

I enjoyed the design. The month name August satin stitching really gathered the fabric. I will put an iron on stabilizer and starch heavily to try another attempt at the block when I finish the borders if I have enough fabric. Thank you.
