While in Washington DC leading an 8th grade school trip I came across your bells at the National Archives Gift Shop - I remembered on July 4 1976 we had a big family picnic and my mother had us all bring a bell, mom had an old cow bell I still have ( see photo) , so we could "ring in the 200th year" I saw your bells in the gift shop and realized what a great way to celebrate the 250th - I bought what they had and ordered what i needed so all 12 of us will have a Bevin 250 cowbell to ring on the 4th and a great souvenir- will probably also ring mom's bell for her.
