Small Loose Hair tool

very useful but the metal is poor quality

I have had over a dozen of these go bad because the little flip "gate" breaks off or gets to sitting under, not on top of, the hook (you can't pull it back out of a dread if the hook is sticking out!). Worse, I have had probably twice as many fail by simply breaking, the hook breaks while pulling even the small amount of hair it holds. There needs to be a solution like this that's much smaller than the big sized hair tool, but it would be nice if it was better quality metal to not break so easily.
