40MAX Lailaps Brushless Flywheel Foam Dart Blaster

40Max does it again. I was super quick to hop aboard a Lightning with a solenoid and better barrel. now, this does come with a noteable disclaimer that the stock trigger is awful and desperately needs replaced. However, 40max saw the error and created a metal trigger ($4 with the Lailaps, $16 with shipping post purchase) and firmware updates to bring this even faster than the Lightning, with the solenoid and upgraded motor tech. i enjoy the new screen and dart sensor, theyre much improved over the original. get the rubber grip sleeve from Out of Darts, and the redcowl kit with some of their 16 round mags and a spare battery or two. with the trigger area lubed with silicone, and the metal trigger, this blaster will absolutely destroy any other flywheel pistol on the field. meaning the HC diana on the battlefield is (for some) no longer the end all be all sidearm. i didnt want to mess with a balance charger or the $300 price, so i went Lailaps. very happy customer. Tommy and the team at 40max are very keen on developing new mods and tweaking existing firmmware to optimize this as its life cycle goes on. if you saw the orignal Lightnings potential, but wanted a solenoid, here is 40max's present to you. Looks good, has a good feel to it. Very durable so far. My only issue is the trigger delay that I'm slowly getting used to. I haven't had a chance to test it during a game because there haven't been any scheduled lately, but I think it will do just fine
