Next level radness
Once again Bananana releases something which caused me to think differently, make fresh ideas from old ideas, embrace the random factor. The Tararira is rather like an instrument which feeds on whatever you put through it, mangles it in any number of ways and then arranges to the rhythm like magic. Using with DAW midi sync I have been using it a bit like a plugin but it is in the real world on my desk in front of me. I am still playing around with trying to get MIDI notes to work since upgrading the firmware, but I am quite new to this stuff. Used live the Tararira is quite a commanding presence which could be used as accompaniment in an almost infinite number of ways and adds all sorts of colours to the sound, subtle or ferocious.
I am still getting acquainted with my Tararira, but I found that the interface is super intuitive, and I love how the different parameters are grouped together on certain push-knob menus. Great implementation without too much menu diving as each parameter has only one level after selecting, and so everything in the menus is essentially one level deep after selection, making it super easy to get to where you want to be once you remember which knob to press. I love that the random button also works on the pattern edit screen, giving quick access to something completely different any time you like. So many possibilities, and sounds great with my other Bananana pedals. I like to use the Aurora at the beginning of the chain, feeding trigger mode samples into the Tararira, then using the Mandala and Abracadbra further along. Sounds HUGE

Truly Astonishing (My New Favourite Pedal)
I've owned a few arpeggiators, but none even come close to this.
The amount of choice you have is MINDBLOWING
.
I never expected to be able to change the input sound itself before it's arpeggiated, let alone have the ability to shuffle into random sequences, coupled with the choices you're given for setting the feel of the arpeggiation.
Lovely metal enclosure, beautifully designed front, there is nothing like it; those make this a truly unique arpeggiator.
Do yourself a favour & buy it while you still can because if this ever comes back, you can bet it won't be for a price anywhere near this low.

Awesome!
The first short test showed me how it tracks exceptionally well, the sounds are great and the overall feel of the pedal is awesome! I really have to get into the details yet, but the first impression was great!
