not as effective as made out to be

it is pretty solid and heavy which is a good sign but doesn't cut as well as another saw i bought for less, although i think with a saw sharpener you could put an edge on the teeth of the saw and it should be alot better

Fantastic tool! Does everything it says in the description without hesitation. The overall design of the handle could be slightly different for my taste (something akin to the angled handle found on traditional hand saws) but it is something one can get used to. I will also be making a new sheath that is less prone to catching on the teeth but the fact that it came with one is nice.
