1 star — Poor quality control Ordered this kit for Father's Day and finally got around to installing it about a month later. Ran into two major defects right out of the box: 1) The backup battery box doesn't work at all — turns out the red wire inside was never soldered to the board. 2) While mounting the plate, the solder points connecting the red and black wires to the screen snapped off just from flipping the unit over to position it. The soldering quality on both components was clearly subpar. I've reached out to support requesting replacements under the warranty. Disappointing experience for a $125+ kit — hoping customer service makes this right, but the quality control on this batch was not acceptable.
