MG-X Front Hidden Winch Mount (JB74/JC74 Suzuki Jimny)

WINCH & MOUNT: GREAT COMBO!

Very happy with the winch and mount combo. Didn’t want the added weight of a bullbar and was looking for an occasional use emergency winch and this fits the bill. Went together really easily - with the exception of getting the bumper back on. Appreciate that the description warns of this, but a couple of pictures or a little more guidance of what/where to cut would have made the install experience much better

Great product. Know your zook before install.

Well zook team. This one is a little harder than normal for a DYI install. Keep in mind you need to know your way around the zook. It’s about a full 4 hour job including mount, winch and connect. Be aware that the 6k winch controller sits on top of the winch on the left hand side. It’s a super tight configuration and even with the best install will only leave you 1-2mm of gap between that and the grill. You will need a multi tool powered to cut (yes cut) the front bumper about 6.2mm in front. There is no other way to do this. I did not need to slot holes for the Fairlead (so product may have changed slightly from original). None the less, great product. Keep in mind you will need to order a 500amp 12v solenoid if you want to run a power off/on in the cabin. (This is cheap). The remote is great. Overall - great product. No instructions though FYI.
