The bushing fitted easily and the instructions were clear, I bought one for each end of the linkages, the gearbox one had failed and a bodged bushing and cable ties was holding it together, replaced it all with this new bushing, everything feels smooth again. Gearbox side one was done for peace of mind.

Easy fix for a common Swift issue!

After finding myself stuck with only 3rd &4th gear I was expecting a massive garage bill for a gearbox repair. Luckily the good people on the Swift FB group pointed me in the right direction. The replacement linkage bush is dead easy to fit once you’ve removed the trim from the centre console. For a bush it’s expensive, but it is lifetime guaranteed, and well worth the savings on getting a garage involved
