I got the book because I wanted to learn a new technique. What I got was a wonderfully approachable and inspiring introduction to a type of embroidery I would have otherwise thought too difficult to ever want to use. I, too, will be starting with the tiny sheep pattern and do not rule out the possibility of making my own mosaic-embroidered little friend in the future.

I've just started the tiny sheep pattern. I am new to this embroidery but the instructions were clear enough to get me started. The book itself is beautifully illustrated with photos.
