As stated by another review, watch that initial pour, I decanted some into 2.5 litre containers to save me carrying the box, made a bit of a mess but the bees love it. I like the fact that im not stuck with yet another big plastic container. Fast service as always and helpful advice

Beware of first spurt.

I thought that holding a 16kg box with one hand and opening the cap with the other whilst aiming the box at one side of a polynuc feeder might be a bit tricky as this was the first box I had tried. So I decided to fill a jug. The cap was quite tricky to open and needed a penknife to prise it apart (a bit easier the second time) When I opened the cap to fill the jug a jet of syrup shot out and landed on the floor of the shed a foot away from the box and missing the jug entirely. Even if I had been putting it directly into the nuc feeder most of it would have missed. I spent half an hour scooping syrup off the shed floor with the flat end of a hive tool - not the most entertaining of activities! Subsequent fills of my jug were fine. I like the idea of the bag in a box rather than adding to my stack of plastic jerry cans but would have appreciated a warning.
